As Director of Global Minerals & Mining at Integrated Global Services (IGS), she leads global initiatives focused on business growth in Africa and worldwide, improving operational efficiency, and extending the life of high-value assets. Her work is centered on the mining, metals, and power generation sectors, where she helps operators reduce downtime and improve plant performance through advanced surface protection technologies.

Teresa brings over a decade of leadership experience in industrial process engineering, mineral processing, and strategic operations across the oil and gas, petrochemical, power, metals, and mining industries.

She joined Integrated Global Services (IGS) in 2013 and has progressed through multiple leadership roles, including:

  • General Manager, IGS South Africa (2019–2021)

  • Managing Director, IGS South Africa (2021–2023)

  • Director of Global Minerals & Mining, IGS (2023–2024)

  • Director of Business Development and SME Global Minerals & Mining, IGS (2024–Present)

In her current role, Teresa leads global strategy, business development, and technical leadership across the minerals and mining portfolio. She collaborates with international teams to deliver solutions that improve equipment reliability, corrosion and erosion protection, and process efficiency in harsh operating environments.

Prior to joining IGS, Teresa worked as a Metallurgical Engineer at Xstrata Alloys (now Glencore), where she focused on process optimization, performance monitoring, and the application of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.

Her early career included hands-on engineering roles in process troubleshooting, metallurgical test work, and technical training, forming the foundation for her leadership in complex, multidisciplinary operations.
