With over 30 years of engineering and innovation experience, Iain specializes in corrosion prevention, materials science, and thermal spray process optimization, delivering reliability and efficiency solutions to industries worldwide.

With a career spanning more than three decades, Iain Hall has established himself as a global authority in materials engineering and thermal spray technologies. As CTO of IGS, he drives the company’s innovation agenda of advancing solutions in erosion and corrosion mitigation and HVTS. His work focuses on extending the life of mission-critical equipment in the power generation, refining, and industrial processing sectors. 

Iain’s leadership philosophy centers on collaboration, knowledge sharing, and practical innovation. He builds high-performing teams that solve complex surface degradation challenges across continents.
