Its growth has been driven by investment in people, technical expertise and strategic acquisitions, including Cetek®, Hot-tek™, AmStar and TubeTech™ Industrial. In March 2025, American Securities acquired IGS from J.F. Lehman & Company, beginning a new phase of development. The recent acquisition of Flamsprutarna AB further strengthened IGS’s surface-protection expertise and nuclear capabilities.
