TOPIC #4: FIELD-APPLIED ALLOY UPGRADES OF GAS TURBINE COMPONENTS – MULTI-YEAR INSPECTION RESULTS
SPEAKER:  Eric Duvekot, Integrated Global Services (IGS)

High temperature oxidation, erosion, and other wastage mechanisms contribute to wear and premature failure of advanced turbine components, affecting total asset reliability. Since 2022, IGS has upgraded dozens of gas turbines using field-applied HVTS to halt high temperature oxidation. This presentation will be a review of inspection results at various intervals, on machines ranging from F, G, H and J class, of all major OEMs.

Meet Our Team

Stop by Booth 101 to connect with Eric Duvekot and Mike Strom and learn how IGS surface technologies – such as HVTS® cladding – can help mitigate common turbine challenges and extend the life of critical components.
