IGS Appoints Dr. Mark A. Buzanowski as Sr. Product Manager of LPA Filtration

RICHMOND, Va. – Integrated Global Services (IGS), a global leader in the development and application of solutions for erosion and corrosion problems in mission critical equipment, is pleased to announce the hire of Mark A. Buzanowski, Ph.D. Mark joined IGS as Sr. Product Manager in charge of IGS’ NoNOx Components large particle ash (LPA) filtration screens for SCRs in coal fired power plants, effective April 9, 2012. He will oversee IGS’s engineering, design, and flow modeling of new and replacement components, as well as research and development of new products.

Buzanowski has more than 20 years of experience directing the engineering and design of power generation and petrochemical/refining equipment and pollution control technologies. He is a highly experienced product development manager, having patented 12 new products in the United States, Europe, and China. Prior to this role, Mark served as Manager, Design Engineering, Environmental Systems at Peerless Manufacturing Company; and Manager, Engineering & Commercial Management, SCR Systems at Mitsubishi Power Systems. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering and a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering and has published over 30 related technical publications.
